Isn't the NASCAR audience very large in the U.S.? Aren't they also a little bit more libertarian minded than the general population?

If what we're doing is a movement, and a revolution, I'm not sure why it would matter even IF Ron Paul wasn't continuing on, even though the notion that he's not is 100% incorrect.

Heck I might even start watching NASCAR, and cheering this car on, if we can get it out there!!

If it's not for the Nascar sprint cup seirs than it's not worth your time. No one watches the other races.

The Nationwide series (formerly Busch series) has a huge following. Actually beyond the Daytona 500 it could be argued that the Nationwide series could actually give you more bang for the buck.

During race weekends many sponsors set up booths outside the track to diseminate info and if an RP sponsored Nationwide car could be out there with a top notch series driver signing autographs and RP folks handing out RP literature.....it could be huge ! Rather then going out door to door canvassing you get 30,000 or 40,000 people coming to you. Hand them a piece of literature and in the hour or so before the race, I'd say at least half of the people will read it. Race fans are loyal, AND CONSERVATIVE!!! Many teams have been having sponsorship problems, if they see someone backing the sport they love, especially someone with Dr. Pauls integrity and record, they WILL respond and they have family and friends just like the rest of us.

Ron Paul has worked his guts out to get as far as he could in the establishment system. He has run well and is continuing to run all the way to the end. If Dr Paul says it you can take it to the bank.

I see some fair-weather supporters running for the exits. I say goodbye…and good riddance.

If we could get organized for after Daytona it could be big. I'm going to donate, what the heck, let's get this effort launched.

Really should think about the Nationwide series though. Those races are televised on ESPN and with motorsports there's more involved than just a sticker on the car. If fans see the car as more than just a one time gimmick it would go a long way.

There are Busch teams that do promotions on Cup race day as well as Busch race day. You could get more exposure for less money in the long run.

In my opinion this shouldn't be about making the MSM eat crow. It should be about exposing people to the message at the grassroots level.
