I don't think that there would be anything wrong with the official campaign setting up a provision for periodic automatic donations via credit card, as long as they don't make an unlawful link to the grassroots pledge program.

Automatic periodic payment systems are in widespread use by companies that provide continuing goods & services, like newspaper subscriptions. Other campaigns have set up such systems.

Ah, okay. Yeah that makes sense. I'd be game for that.

But until that happens, let's support the Payday!
