Ron Paul's Debate Day Money Bomb - May 5, 2011 - DebateDay.com

Thanks nayjevin, but I was thinking for people who are tea partiers or have something about Ron Paul in their profile. Not completely sold out converts. Just people who might donate, but aren't plugged in to the most obvious fanpages.

I know that I became the most excited about Paul after I made my first donation... prior to that I was just going to vote for him.

Good ideas, I'd suggest posting them in that thread even if you start up a new project. There's alot of good information in there, and IDefendThePlatform (who started it) has been open to ideas and successful in getting funding.

Guys, we can def. hit 2 Million, possibly 3!
This facebook event has over 2 times as many people as the LibertyPAC money bomb on President's Day, which raised over 750k. I think we can expect that people will donate more this time around, but even being conservative, we can expect between 1.5-3 Million.

I don't know how many have pledged on DebateDay site, but now over 5,000 have RSVP'ed on Facebook page. It's growing exponentially it seems. Can we get that number to 10,000 by May 5 and how???:)

Just spent the last 30 minutes inviting almost 3,000 people to the facebook event from my website page. :)

What's the best way to donate after maxing out $2500 to the PEC? When Ron Paul becomes a candidate, the limit is transferred for the whole election (2011 and 2012), yes?

Someone mentioned something about contributions to PACs change after becoming a candidate? Would it no longer be $5000/calendar year to the Liberty PAC?

welcome, and im not sure. There will be a lot of chances to donate to grassroots projects though.

I'm throwing caution to the wind and maxing out at $2,500 during this money bomb.

You are awesome! IMO we should all make this our BIGGEST contribution of the campaign. He needs a big enough total to be taken seriously. We know how difficult it is to go from being marginalized to being taken seriously. The only way to prevent that again is MAY 5th, his first appearance in front of the country. We want the media folks to be taking him seriously and talking about his big time $$$$, not laughing him off about texters in their basement. That kind of shit can turn off a voter for GOOD!

Don't let this happen! Give your personal maximum now May 5th!! And do it early! Before the debates!!

hey, long time supporter/viewer of this and other Ron Paul sites. Just wanted to add that ill be in for the money bomb. Set aside $250 for it, hopefully will have some more to donate by thursday if I eat at home the rest of this week and watch my money closely :) wish I could do more but I will for sure be giving more throughout the coming months whenever I am able to do so. Lets do this guys.

This is great news!!! Welcome aboard Rob!

@Daamien: Man you're not just adding money you're adding patriotic TNT to this bomb!

The highest I can possibly go is for $500 but that'll be saved for the final money bomb.

We need money early. I am going all out on this one with $500... even if it means less on the ones later on.
