Ron Paul's CPAC presentation will be on CSPAN today

Are you part of the Nielsen ratings trackers?

If not, it doesn't matter.

Doesn't Mitt know that Obama thinks his hand is the invisible hand?

Not near the enthusiasm for Mitt as there was for Ron

Oh, Mittens just said the Constitution limits the power of the government. I wonder if he's read it yet.

Guys, the only thing that Mittens has going for him is that he's good looking and he's a good speaker. Now, he's talking about his stupid healthcare that he instituted in Massachusetts. Didn't I read that this was a huge FAILURE???

Wasn't Mitt a big fan of Universal Healthcare? Now he is dogging on it (correct position but what's the motivation for the switcharoo?)

I have no problem with Mitt's universal healthcare he created in MA. I'd prefer a more free market approach but if that's what MA wants then fine by me.

Well, its pretty obvious that Dr. Paul was the much better speaker, with much more applause, enthusiam, and a more consevative message. They should have put Mitt before him, if they really intent to bring the party back to its roots.

We don't get that station in NZ...pleeeeaaase i neeeed a You tube!!!!

Thank-you so much Dustancostine. It's wonderful to see a 73 year old man in his Prime!!! I was clapping too. Didn't quite do a standing ovation in front of the computer but nearly!

Sure, I felt a little weird yelling and hooting and clapping to an unresponsive television, with noone but my cat around. But, dayum, it still felt so good!!! It still makes me crazy a 'lil bit that some of those people don't hear good old solid truth when they hear it. The experience was only sullied when I caught a few glimpses of Mitt and how the crowd was responding(way too enthusiastically for my taste) to his same old claptrap. Just goes to show, we've come along way baby... but there's still plenty of work to do, hope there's time!

GO RON!!

The Good Doctor was on a roll. He spoke boldly about foreign policy, Iraq and Afghanistan while giving a history lesson and how Bush was elected in 2000.

hey, KC, is that Mononoke in your avatar? We're huge fans.

My thoughts exactly. Ron Paul and the movement have come a long way in a positive direction. Compared to last year, the reception of Ron seemed much greater, welcoming, and during his more 'controversial' moments he was either supported, or people were listening -- I didn't hear any booing. Quite a change from the 08 presidential primaries.

People are waking up, listening, trying to piece it together.

His opening about defining conservatism was awesome, and seemed to be well organized thought and words. I wished he had reinforced that thematic more throughout the speech and stuck with such piercingly organized talking points. Instead, he went on his typical sort of stream of consciousness speaking style, which doesn't serve him well when he's trying to communicate his ideas.

Overall, I give an A-minus.

We all wish we could be there with you! Take some phone pics and share them if you can. :)

I didn't really get a chance to take any photos. The C4L crew was photographing, though, and they should be up on the site soon.
