For the month of February:

Romney
Raised: 11.5 million
Spent: 12.4 million
Cash on hand: 7.3 million

Santorum
Raised: 8.9 million
Spent: 7.8 million
Cash on hand: 2.6 million

Paul
Raised: 3.3 million
Spent: 3.5 million
Cash on hand: 1.4 million

Gingrich
Raised: 2.6 million
Spent: 2.8 million
Cash on hand: 1.54 million

The media is already calling on Gingrich to drop out because his campaign is broke.

The interesting thing is how little Mitt Romney has, with all the wins he has racked up...same with Santorum.
I can only imagine what RP would have if they had gotten a win in early on...

GINGRICH has more debt on hand than cash on hand. Your list doesn't show that. Ron doesn't. In fact, while I didn't check this quarter, always before they have had ZERO debt.

I hope we can get more then 750K, If not, that's not good.

I was simply being "real." I don't see, with this being promoted in such a short time, and many of the loyalists on here being maxed out, how attaining more than $1 million will be possible.

However, let's all keep doing what we can to promote it and hope for the best!

I'm thinking a million - and then they might extend it. Ron has been having fundraisers as well. I have no idea how many people attended but last night he had a $2500 per plate dinner hosted by that Black Swan guy as well as a $350 dollar a plate lunch yesterday (about 150 people attended the lunch).

Well, that is certainly good to hear. It means the campaign is definitely wanting to move on and keep things going.

Back to promoting!

All we can do is pledge and encourage others to do the same. I see no reason why we cannot raise several million dollars if every one -- minus those folks that are maxed out -- supporting Ron Paul over the past five years, donate. The Ron Paul movement has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. I suggest we all turn off our TV sets and concentrate on the delegate count around the country. There is every reason to be hopeful.

If anyone has ties to Alex Jones, maybe they can get him to plug it and/or call in and plug it.

After Illinois, Santorum will collapse, unfortunately for those that want a brokered convention, we need Santorum and Gingrich to stay.

I find it odd that the amount of money a candidate has correlates to their standing(according to media) in votes.

Nah, if Paul had run with Paypal founder/tycoon Peter Thiel as his running mate, and had $100 million cash on hand, the MSM would have still treated Paul as unelectable. As it stands, Paul had more net cash on hand for most of the primary race than any of the others except Romney and Perry, and was still marginalized.

I suggest Ron Paul hold a "donation lottery".
Everyone who contributes ??? 200$ or more on Saturday is entered in to a drawing and gets to have dinner/lunch with Paul.

Or better yet. Paul will visit their home IF they are in a state that hasn't voted yet.

Would you buy a lottery ticket like that?

Yes! I'm not maxed out yet and plan on donating Friday but that would definately be an interesting idea!!!!

Is Paul spending his money wisely? Every commercial break on America Freedom Radio I hear a Ron Paul add. I doubt anyone who listens to AFR is planning on voting for anyone but Paul. However, I have yet to hear a Paul add on Beck, Rush, or Hannity. The only other place I have heard a Paul add is on Alex Jones, again another area where Paul seems to be targeting people who are already going to vote for him. It doesn't make any sense.

Sailingway, is it possible to get the Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death Money Bomb this Friday mentioned Prominently on Page 1 of the RP Forum?

Ron really needs the Money Bomb to succeed and any reminder would sure be a plus!!! Thanks!!

I think Newt's balance is NEGATIVE $1.5 million...When I saw it was about equal to what he got from Freddie Mac, I LOLd.
