Ron Paul's Biggest Flaw

Ron Paul's biggest flaw is that most of this nation is composed of goddamn morons who are basically overgrown children that don't have the slightest care about what is morally right.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, you are the smartest person in this thread, I do believe.

simple fact is, ron paul doesnt sugar coat anything. when he speaks you can bet its the truth no matter how it cuts. if the obama people get turned off by that, well, thats just the way it is. besides thats all just an excuse anyway. paul isnt a smart ass, but just simply speaks the truth. people who say otherwise probably wouldnt be persuaded anyhow.

I feel Ron Paul's biggest flaw is his harsh criticism against the Obama administration. Yes, it makes sense to us when Ron Paul calls Obama a fascist or a socialist on CNN, but when the majority of the viewers watch it (the Obama fanatics), there is no chance they understand where he is coming from. It may have worked when Ron Paul criticized Bush, but that's because everyone hates Bush. All it's doing now is attracting much of the religious right nut jobs (which does not look good for us), and it's turning off any Obama fanatics (which are the majority) to Ron Paul.

If this doesn't change, I guarantee it'll be our movement's fatal flaw.

Ohhh telling the truth is a flaw?

GTFO.

Telling the truth in a way that can be easily misunderstood is a flaw. I love Ron Paul's honesty.

As I've said in a previous post: Drop the useless hate.

If you have a brain and are not mentally handicapped - understanding Ron Paul shouldn't be too hard...

I guess that's why Obama supporters don't.

I think calling Obama fascist can be easily misunderstood, especially by CNN's audience, since the average perception of fascism is Nazi Germany.

It's THEIR flaw, they are ignorant and profoundly stupid. Not Ron Paul's.

Premise fails.

Why sugar coat the truth?

being from a large state.
if he was congressman from Arizona or Colorado or any other small-medium state he would have long ago made it to the senate.

congressmen are just not taken seriously when they run for president

Sounds like someone has been listening to MSNBC? Seems like every time I turn on that channel I hear this lecture.

Pretty lies will always win so long as the truth can be denied. With China souring on our debt, however, I doubt the truth can be denied much longer. If and when that comes to pass, someone who told the truth all along will be the prophet and savior. So, I think his greatest flaw will become his greatest strength in a last-shall-be-first kind of a way. And all we can do in the meantime is keep on educating, and we'll be right there with him.
