Ron Paul-ing

Transitive verb

A. to dismantle

B. to restructure that which is wasteful

C. to end thru exposition of waste that which serves no useful purpose

We need a new Trend. Instead of saying Obama, Perry, Mitt, the GOP, etc are "stealing" Ron Paul's ideas, we need to describe it as a catch phrase. (think "Tebowing")

That now needs to be our trending when describing Policy ideas stolen from the Doctor. The trend needs to go on twitter, facebook, reddit, etc.....

It just seems important to form a catch-phrase right now, especially since the momentum is building and GOP/Media talking heads are talking about Dr. Paul "shaping the politcal landscape." As the establishment slowly continues to move toward/steal Dr. Paul's policy ideas, the catch-phrase will help provide perspective to the origin of the policy idea, if that makes sense.....

After SC, it seems important to label this trend so that NOBODY can ever try to take credit for ideas that Ron Paul has been talking about for 30yrs!!!!

March 11 Update:
After sharing "Ron Pauling" with Doug Wead, it appears he took the idea to the Campaign and they shortened it to "Paul-ing" :)

"His advisers call it “Paul-ing” when another Republican candidate embraces an issue position long espoused by Paul that is only now entering the conservative mainstream. Examples include Santorum and Gingrich calling for an audit of the Federal Reserve or Romney saying he’d fire Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke."

The Most Recent Example of Ron Pauling occurred during Newt Gingrich's victory speech in SC:

The Wall St. Journal is now Guilty of Ron Pauling the Federal Reserve and giving credit to everyone but Paul.

+rep Great idea:D

I like it! We all know it's happening... might as well have a word/phrase for it.

My father in law had a plumbing issue at his house and he told me when he was on the phone with the plumber he sounded honest and sincere and didn't charge him more than what the job was worth and even less than he had anticipated. I said, without missing a beat, that the guy Ron Pauled him.

Great chance to call out those fake conservatives who mimic Ron Paul's policies but who either ignore or marginalize Ron Paul himself. Limppaw comes to mind.
