When you do a search Ron Paul on youtube, his video count has remained at about 816,000+ over the last month. Today, his count is at about 221,000 video's.

Youtube did this before, last month and the count went down a couple hundred thousand, but this time it's down over a 1/2 million videos.

While Obama is at about 679,000 videos. I have screen prints with time stamps on them from last month and this month. I will update if this number changes.

Ron Paul's count on yotube went up to 255,000 and Obama's count went up to 715,000. Yeah obviously they're planning their media manipulation out in advance, this time around. Hope people document, record, and get screen shots of everything.

As of today, Ron Paul's youtube video count is at about 245,000, still down 1/2 million from the past couple years. While Obama has CREEPED up to about 720,000.

Many of us have been tracking, documenting, and taking screen shots of the bias against Ron Paul, as they try to sneak attack him. When Ron Paul announces, it will be a big win for him, when Judge Napolitano and/or John Stossel report on the documented media bias against Ron Paul.

We are far more prepared, then we were in the last election. I say BRING IT!

Doesn't google own youtube? I thought they weren't so bad. Could the numbers be right?(I HIGHLY doubt it)

Sort of off the topic of the OP, but Google Trends shows that Ron Paul is googled just as much as Obama.
Romney, McCain, etc, much less:

I have it set up for Ron Paul :) Type in anything else to search for more.

Seems like the Utube would reflect this interest.

I also wonder why someone would take down a Ron Paul video once they've posted it? Where did they all go?

Here's a screenshot of "Ron Paul" search results in Youtube on 2-10-2011. About 816,000 results, 1/2 million video results have vanished since Feb. 10 2011??? While Obama's have increased. Plain and simple crooked media manipualtion. This is a Ron Paul moment, where Ron should ask "what's going on here?". Heck Ron hasn't even announced and the media is attempting to suppress his popularity before it starts.

Hope we don't wait until the media decides another president for America.

I don't think youtube is taking down an videos that a lot of people are actually watching. A ton of people just put Ron Paul's name in the title and then make some creepy vlog, usually some dude drinking a beer without a shirt. I don't think we have that much to worry about unless they start removing vids with a ton of views for no reason.

I have Barack Obama bringing up 346,000 hits right now compared to RP's 249,000. I think it depends on the time of day too because youtube is always updating and taking stuff offline to fix glitches, etc etc etc.

So then we don't need to be concerned, since they must have simply cleaned up Ron Paul tags in bogus videos, to the tune of 600,000. Wow they must really like Ron Paul, since it appears his video counts got cleaned up and Obama's didn't... Sorry but this one doesn't pass the smell test.

I do exact word searches by putting quotes in my searches like "Ron Paul". The search I performed on 2-10-2011, had "Ron Paul" in quotes. Whereas I simply typed in Obama for that search, and if you do this today, you will get over 700,000 results for Obama.

I looked at the history of videos I had "liked" in the past, which mostly had Ron Paul in the title, and over two thirds of them are now missing because the user had been deleted by Youtube (apparently because of copyright violations, TOS violations etc.). A few said the user had closed their account voluntarily.

This is probably why.

In less than a week "Ron Paul" youtube video results are down nearly 50,000. While Obama search results in youtube are now up 22,000. At this rate by the time "Ron Paul" announces his run for president, his Youtube video search results are likely to say zero :(

From about 816,000 video results when searching for the exact phrase "Ron Paul", on 2-10-2011, to 198,000 on 4-22-2011, and no one finds this strange?

I find it strange and infuriating. Thank you very much for cataloging this. In the past I've told people youtube has screwed with RP videos and view counters and they don't believe me.

Is there something we can do about this?
If nothing else compile and organize the info in a document or video to prove to people what we're talking about?

I'm kind of curious if we ought to make a youtube video with this information then try to view-count it to the top of the results when people type in Ron Paul.

They did it again, it's now at 20,400, down nearly 800,000 video's since Feb-2011. They can now say Ron Paul is no longer the king of youtube. But I guess they're just purging old data, no bias or media manipulation to see here! Move, along...

really guys? This is silly. The amount of Videos with Ron Paul in the title or even the amount of Ron Paul Videos on Youtube will have NO impact on the race. The idea that there is some grandiose plan to mess with his Youtube video count is just paranoia....

This is fking ridiculous!! I just searched his name youtube and when I saw the number of hits I immediately remembered this thread and the 800k hits he used to have. So disgusting.

So why are they doing it?

You really think Ron Paul having 800K videos vs 50K would make a difference? No one is watching 800 videos let alone 800K.

Many different mainstream networks ran tech specials in 2007 and 2008 that compared Youtube video numbers.

Youtube is much larger four years later.

The numbers will be trumpeted much louder.

This does matter when this information goes out to tens of millions of viewers who think they are making informed decisions about who has actual grassroots enthusiasm.
