an article I read didn't have him on the list of top VP choices, so I was surprised at this. In fact, Ron and Bachmann (by 9 votes) were the only ones who beat 'undecided'.

Vice Presidential Candidate Responses:

Michele Bachmann 240 12%
Herman Cain 226 11%
Chris Christie 33 2%
Mitch Daniels 17 1%
Jim DeMint 63 3%
Newt Gingrich 159 8%
Niki Haley 15 1%
Mike Huckabee 54 3%
Jon Huntsman 24 1%
Bobby Jindal 52 3%
Thad McCotter 8 0%
Bob McDonnell 41 2%
Sarah Palin 21 1%
Ron Paul 285 14%
Tim Pawlenty 9 0%
Rick Perry 37 2%
Marco Rubio 198 10%
Mitt Romney 28 1%
Paul Ryan 61 3%
Rick Santorum 181 9%
Undecided 231 12%

Wow..When I heard the news that Ron had won the straw poll (on the radio), it was followed by the VP news. And they didn't mention Ron Paul's name either. I suppose they will have to stop talking about how wonderful Bachmann and Cain are to the values voters. LOL More likely, they'll just keep on reporting them without saying that RON PAUL won that part of it too.

Great news. Thanks for the info!

Wow, I kept reading those VP lists everywhere, too, thinking, who the heck did the RP people vote for for VP? Why isn't Ron even on this list?

They really are totally burying this.

This brings up an interesting question... Would I vote for a ticket with Ron as VP?

The VP lists that were shown immediately after the Straw Poll results on the stream didn't have Ron on them. That's what many people were reporting on at first. They didn't show percentages for the results of the VP, but showed Bachmann first, with Santorum second.

Seems like a lot of people voted Paul/Paul :p

Could you? BEcause I'd think if you could it would be a higher number.

I know the two lists were very different, but I don't know if you could vote the same choice for VP, as someone above suggested.

You could vote that way. The question was worded as who would be your choice as VP from this GOP field (and didn't have Gary Johnson, as a side note) and you could vote for Ron Paul as VP; these were separate questions and not to be confused by something like, "who's your first choice, who's your second", it was not that at all.
