Ron Paul wins Washington State!

where are we getting these numbers from for these states, where we can call them wins? Everyones counting Iowa as a victory, I missed the Washington as a victory story. I should be here. Minnesota does look like a victory. We have 20 delegates there (I think that's enough to tie) and the process isn't done yet, lots of delegates left to pick.

I've started to read things that I can't verify. I'd like to see the thread about how we won Washington. I must've missed that one. I would think that we wouldn't have just ignored a big victory, and we wouldn't be relying on some press account of it. There would be a series of threads about Winning Washington, if we did. At least that's what I'd expect to happen.

The state convention is not until June so I am not sure how they know we won Wa.

I'm pretty sure calling it a win in Washington is contingent on getting the Santorum delegates to fall in line with us. No small task after Santorum's quasi-Romney endorsement on the Piers Morgan Show.

Edit: Nevermind, I was thinking of Colarodo... I have no idea how they can call Washington ours already, or maybe it's just bluffing for a self-fulfilling prophecy. Either way, it can't hurt to look and act like winners at this stage.

In Iowa and MN we are supposed to have got 50% of the delegates, so technically we have won on delegates.
But I dont understand about WA state.

I read the IBT story. I'm not sure where they got their info.

I know Ron Paul won my small county. Maybe the author has been keeping track of the counties and projected the win that way.

The thing I'm worried about is cheating. If The Establishment knows that Dr. Paul won a state then won't it try to keep his delegates from getting to the national convention? Hasn't it shown that it'll cut off it's nose to spite it's face?

I don't think Iowa has happened.

MN has done their CD delegates, and we got 20 of them. They're doing their at large later. We got 20 CD delegates in MN, and that's enough to clinch a tie. Which is good enough to call it a win.

Spreading wrong information isn't the way to go.

My county is about 30% for Paul going into the State Convention. That's not even close to a win. We'll see what happens when we get to State.

How many contacts are you making to the other 70% to persuade them to vote for your folks? We're making significant progress building coalitions and bringing folks over to support our delegates.

Ron has already won half the delegates in Iowa. The number is 13 or 14.

I don't know if Ron will win WA or not, it is a nailbiter. And with a level deck I truly think Ron would have won easily. But we'll see. the King county convention is this weekend I think, and that is a big one. We've seen lots of the drama's leading up to it, in the congressional districts, in some Ron or Ron/slate won in some Romney or Romney/slate won and this is where many of them come together.

No delegates to the Republican National Convention have been chosen... The selection of the official delegation from Washington State will take place May 30, 2012.
