exactly . I will write in ron paul before i support a status quo ticket even if rp is vp on the status quo ticket! If Ron paul accepted a vp to a status quo ticket. I would demand that ron paul sent me every dime i sent him!

We can think about what to do when "Paul has already lost" when he loses but this race is FAR FROM OVER & if you think Paul has already lost then go campaign for Romney!

Fair enough. I was arguing about this from a hypothetical situation where, let's say Paul had lost the primaries, but had enough delegates to exchange them for VP spot under Romney at the convention.

VP is a USELESS position, compromising principles for the sake of getting into a worthless position is stupid, it destroy the movement & will mark a blot on the liberty-movement & everything it stands for

1/3 of US VPs have become President. 1/4 have done so through inheritance.

Those are better chances than we've ever had at the Presidency.

I suggest you already start campaigning for Romney, people like you deserve the Romneys & Obamas because you're just as unprincipled compromisers.

Hmm...I recall some of the founding fathers we love to lionize here doing the same thing - compromise.

I don't see this as a compromise if it puts us at better chances of attaining the Presidency than we currently have...

The government is full of corrupt, flip-flopping, compromising thieves because voters aren't principled enough to take a stand & not compromise on principles

If I heard that Ron Paul would be nominated for the Vice Presidency 4 years ago, I'd be delighted.

It's not even compromise. It's a choice between getting something or nothing.

If there is not a Paul on the ticket, I will not vote for it. Now if it's Ron or Rand as the VP, it's a pretty appealing ticket compared to Obama.
