Ron Paul will be on Fox & Friends AND Morning Joe this morning (01/11/12)

"They (conservatives) need a backbone!"

Great soundbite from Dr. Paul! Joe loved it!

Ron would accept Rand VP. I don't imagine he would accept anything less. He wants to retire if he doesn't win.

Question is would that be enough for Ron Paul supporters to get behind a Romney/Rand Paul ticket? (kind of gritting my teeth as I type this)

Umm, YEAH! Ron is ready for the dance! He is so confident right now. That was another exciting interview. He's had all the pundits nodding their heads in agreement with his words this morning. Stood up to the smear attempt. Told Congress to GET A BACKBONE! Wow. South Carolina is not gonna know what hit em! Was that hurricane named RON by chance??

I imagine it would be enough for most of them. The purists are the minority.

Dude in the background cracks up at Ron's 2nd response to gotcha question. Loved it!

Rand will not get VP. He only has two years senate under his belt. That would be less than Obama when he ran. Rand won't haven served for 20 months if they put him on the ticket. Not going to happen for that exact reason.

The Paul family carries the independents, while Rubio only carries the minorities in Florida. Rand would make huge headlines in a debate against Biden, he would rally the Tea Party conservatives, and he would bring Ron along to campaign stops that would rally the Paulites. Don't assume Rand isn't a great choice for VP and don't assume Romney isn't giving it serious consideration.

WHY doesn't he mention the troop support?

Q - Do people think you're kooky because of your foreign policy?

A - I get more donations from active duty military than all the other candidates combined. Do these people think our troops are kooky? I think it's pretty disrespectful to our military.

I agree. People who say "support" the troops should start listening to them.

I don't know. Personally I'd have to do some soul searching on supporting that one, Romney would still be President and from my understanding Rand voted for sanctions? Hmmm..
