If you're tired of the Trumper's version of libertarian, you might like listening to Ron Paul talk about current events with Tom Woods.

So many take-aways.

''Maybe the first 100 years we believed in self-reliance...''

''Negative interest rates are bizarre''

''As soon someone calls you a plant, that person isn't worth dealing with''

''We have to be loud.''

''Incrementalism won't work''

If Ron Paul had won, the west coast probably would have seceded. There would be chaos and war between the states. Our nation's infrastructure would be crippled, and the white house would have been bulldozed by either war or by Ron himself.

Let's all thank our lucky stars that didn't happen! That would just be horrible.

It's also interesting to note that Ron reiterates several times the fact that there is no fundamental difference between the parties. They're both primarily interested in expanding state power and control, they just aporoach it from different angles.

Ron is a great man and a great philosopher but he isn't perfect and as a political strategist he's hopeless.

I can attest that that is the truth. I have sat on committees, participated in many a meeting, involved in more campaigns that I care to remember (except Ron Paul’s which I would do again in a heart beat). They [republicans] love to talk the rhetoric, but when it comes down to it they are just as bad as democrats. Worse even, because they know how to rope folks in slowly but surely, losing sense of the foundation of freedom and conservatism. At least the democrats are open and honest about it and you know where they stand. I have no use for political parties anymore, this one centralized government. I enjoy living as free as I can the best that I can, considering the circumstances, and spreading the message of freedom and liberty, and of course Ron Paul.

For now it's the only thing that will work.

Oh.

Then nothing will work. As proven by the fact that nothing is working.

Somebody nearby resembles that remark.
