umm, that revolutionmarch intro video is really, REALLY good. the coordination with the music and the visual is very impressive.
as to Ron's book review, overall it's great as always, because it's all about the message and the message does come through. but Ron really might want to think about practicing some of his speeches and maybe even using some reminder cards to ease the presentation itself.
it's very tough to give a good speech. it's very, very tough to give a good speech without looking at notes. Ron does a good job and is better able to speak off-the-cuff than the vast majority of people, but because he's working from memory and he's thinking of so many things at once he sometimes mixes up words or jumps between topics which makes the speech seem disjointed. Since I know what he's trying to say and because I'm pulling for him, I make the effort to figure out what he meant to say and still try to keep up with the next thought.
But for a new audience, he can be hard to follow. It's rooted in a good thing. He's really only concerned about the core aspects of the message and the rest is "just details", but it does make it difficult to understand sometimes.
Last, and most petty, he needs to drink water early and often. It's like he doesn't want to get off-track so he doesn't even take a break to get a drink even if he's darn near choking. But he does seem nervous sometimes and could stand to simply pause, take a drink, collect his thoughts and continue.
Yes, opinions are like assholes, but I hope these thoughts can be taken in the constructive sense they are intended cuz it's all about getting more people to be open to absorbing the message.
