Does the fact that the thread starter has only one post mean anything?
The negativity among people with 1-5 posts in the last few days is very alarming.

I've noticed that, too. A lot of naysayers/complainers are hanging around lately. :/
Did he sign each of these? I licked my finger and ran it across it...it's ink, not printed.
They probably used an autopen. It's a machine that uses a real pen to make an ink signature. Been around for decades.

I see your point. But why not say "The campaign is wasting my money." instead of "Ron Paul is wasting my money."
There are many new people here. Do you really want one of the first things they see when they get here to be a post by you saying "Ron Paul is wasting my money."?

I got one too and wondered how much it cost to send to me thinking it was a waste.
No need to send me a post card to thank me. Winning in the primaries would be thanks enough. Don't waste the money on thanking me. Please.

I have to beg to differ. After Jonathan's super-negative email, I decided it was not in my best interests nor the best interests of the campaign for me to remain subscribed to their mailing list and removed my name. I was feeling rather down on even donating any more which was really causing me some serious conflict. See, I really believe Dr. Paul is our only hope and I really want to do all I can to get him to the Whitehouse. I just lost alot of respect for the campaign as well as any faith I had left in them, so I felt it best to cut myself off from them before I felt any more negativity toward them.
Then I got that postcard in the mail. I'm definitely going to be donating on the 16th, no question about it now. Finally I received something positive from the campaign, something that wasn't disrespectful of our efforts, but rather, appreciative. This postcard was very necessary after that email.

I started donating to Ron Paul about seven years ago and even when I wasn't donating they always sent me monthly updates, written by the Congressman and they helped me to define a lot of my positions. He's always been a thoughtful congressman and the postcard you got- I got one too and it made feel appreciated-was a sign of his decency, not sloth.

The postcard was like a thank-you letter. I was raised to always send thank-you notes to people that gave me gifts. It was not a fundraising-request. It was a thank you note.

Some years ago I sent John McCain $250 (sorry about that; I'm smarter now) and I'll bet he spent half of it sending me urgent requests for more money, all via FedEx!

Not like we give him much choice
It is not like we give him much choice. I mean we are donating TONS of money to the campaign and then the grassroots goes out and buys TV, radio, and news ads. Rents a Blimp. Pays for housing for volunteers to go door to door. We BUY our materials from the campaign plus make signs of our own. And fund 1000 other effort I am sure I am not aware of. The poor man need to spend all that money on something it might as well be thank you notes to his supporters.
Shoot if this keeps up he will just pay off the national debt with his campaign donations by the time we elect him into office.
