Excellent. I actually first helped bring Ron Paul to UMD back in 2008 after he dropped out. He endorsed 6 liberty republicans running for congress.

Is there a facebook event for this yet?

Ritchie Coliseum

The floor dimensions are 11,000 ft2 (1,021.9 m2) with a surface of maple hardwood. The official seating capacity was originally 1,500. Currently, there are 1,900 total seats, which includes 600 folding seat-back chairs in the upper mezzanine, 700 pull-out bench seats, and 600 chairs on the floor.

Excellent! and I read a while back he was going to Connecticut. I hope he goes to Rhode Island! Maryland has a 'suburb of DC' issue, unfortunately.

Early voting centers are open until 8pm.

I wish they would have scheduled this town hall an hour earlier so that they could direct everyone to the early voting center, which is less than a mile away, before it closes at 8pm.

Is it too late for the campaign to hire you?

I can only pay you with a continuous stream of rep.

Maybe there could be a rally earlier. I understand it is supposed to be a big one, they will likely be in line at that time.

Here's the early voting center for those attending the town hall. It's a bit less than 1 mile away. Make sure you vote first then attend the event.

College Park Community Center
5051 Pierce Avenue
College Park, MD 20742

They are open from 10am to 8pm.

Ugh...should come to Wisconsin instead. Maryland and Wisconsin have primaries on the same day...but Wisconsin has an open primary while Maryland a closed. Paul can win congressional districts in Wisconsin...

And you can register to vote at the polling place on primary day in Wisconsin.
Yep...it's a cinch. Voters know it too...independent/dem turnout could be huge boon for Paul...problem is the local media coverage here is quite lacking and most people probably don't even know he's still running :(

Do you have to go to the college to go? I'm already voting this weekend, could I still attend or is it just for those voting?

Ill be there!! This is my first time seeing Dr. Paul and I am truly excited. I'm taking my girlfriend who isn't very politically minded but I've been telling her some bits and pieces. I'm hoping she'll be impressed.

Yay!! I get to go to this one! :D:cool:

I'm out of state but my Girlfriend is a student at UMUC and lives in Pasadena.
