Ron Paul to Appear on "The View"

I think on everything except for abortion he'd kick ass with them. And if he elaborates on that, then even more kick ass!

Wouldn't matter if Hasselback was there, anyway. I'm sure Ron Paul is well able to handle a confused pregnant woman.

Is there a date for his appearance? I'm going to tell my grandma.

Yeah but it will be better and people will receive the message better without all of her pointless interruptions.

Laura Ingraham will fill Hasselbeck's spot on the 12th.
Jessica Simpson will fill in on the 15th and 16th.

Ron Paul should play the audience and talk up his work as a doctor. They will eat it up. I am talking baby stories and cute stuff.

I am serious.

This will play very well with the target audience of this show.

lolol :D I think you're right. That's exactly what he should do. ;)

What is the date that RP is to appear on this show?

This should be a good one to watch!

This is excellent news! If this forum in any indication of the general population of Ron Paul supporters (see this poll), more women are needed to support the campaign. Many kudos to those arranging this appearance.

You're right, more women definitely are needed to help Ron succeed at the ballot box. Unfortunately a large majority of women don't seem to go for the whole "liberty" thing. I hope Ron's other stances -- anti-war being the most notable -- bring some more women around to his side though.

IMO the #1 thing Ron is doing right lately is saying this: "Saving trillions by bringing our troops home, will allow us to take care of those who need it. After that we can work on a way to transition people away from government dependence." This is a softening of his stance that may get a lot more support from liberals, yet it's sufficient to hold onto his conservative/libertarian base. Brilliant move I think.

Joy Behar is going to fawn over him and say some really nice things about how brave he is, I'm sure of it. She will do this despite disagreeing with him on abortion and other issues.

I keep wondering if he shouldn't bring up the likelihood of a draft, if we attacked Iran. Most women I know are not at all interested in having their children drafted. It kind of brings the issue up close and personal, you know?

and most women I know would not like to be drafted themselves.

He came across as very moderate on the Adam Curry interview; he never left his principles, but he explained it in a way that was less threatening to those who may have been raped or abused incestually.

Plus, I think a seasoned OB/GYN is capable of dealing with a room full of women. :)

LMAO! He could hit a nerve with the women in the audience. (no pun intended)

IMHO he needs to really drill home his anti-war and draft stances. I have two children of draft age (a boy and a girl) and I can tell you right here, right now, I'll work three jobs to send them out of the country before I'll let them be used as cannon-fodder to enrich the military-industrial complex and the private bankers!! PERIOD!

Yup. Hitting home hard that he is firmly against a draft would do WONDERS on that show. After last last, I have faith in the good doctor to handle himself perfectly. :D
