The Birthday Bash or the Straw Poll in Austin? I have been planning on going to the b-day bash but I've been hearing about the TX straw poll the same weekend, I believe. Obviously, I'd rather be at the birthday party but since its not about me...

I'm flying in from Vegas for this one. Meeting a friend in Austin, hang out in Austin Friday night, party on the coast Saturday and maybe the Houston/Dallas preseason game saturday night. Big event Sunday afternoon.

Is anyone else interested in setting up a Ron Paul tailgate party at the football game on saturday?

Someone asked about a camping site...

Can someone from that area give us the lowdown on the camping?

Is Galveston State Park on the beach nice?

Would anyone going to the BBQ like to meet up Saturday night for some beer and Smores?

Well folks, this is shaping up to be another big one. We've got the RP birthday on Sunday in Texas City and the Texas Straw Poll the following Saturday in Ft. Worth. Why not come down for both and make a party of it? Whoever thought that politics could be this much fun. This is going to be one of those magical weeks in the RP Chronicles. There's something in the air already - can't you feel it.

Galveston Beach is not the nicest beach (murky water, etc), but yeah, its okay, and the park is decent.
