Ron Paul Sweeps Minnesota Delegates!

Terrific video! Is this a series or ongoing report?

people can retweet here: https://twitter.com/#!/usernamenuse/status/192294673077911552

I'm a bit pissed they put a Heritage ad on the front, spouting all sorts of Ron Paulistic statements then putting in a bunch of generic politicians as if they applied to them.... but I can certainly see why Heritage would try to appeal to this audience....

Isn't this inaccurate though? I thought that CD-7 in MN came before the 3 contests on Saturday (CD-3, -5, and -6) and that Santorum got 2 and we got 1. Meaning we've got 10 of 12 so far.

Still great...but not a sweep.

With all our bemoaning of bad reporting, we should be responsible in how we present our facts and figures.

this last weekend was a sweep. I didn't remember if prior conventions were RNC delegates or just set up for later state convention picks. You could be right, though about 10 of 12 so far. Santorum had some strongholds, even at the caucus level.

Some day I will have to meet the Collins. How cool would that be.

In the meantime, go Minnesota!!!

According to The Green Papers (which seems like a fair source of inromration) CD-7 in MN caucused on March 31st to elect RNC delegates: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/MN-R

Santorum took 2 of 3 there. Paul later swept 3 CDs for a total of 10 out of 12 so far.

I'm exceedingly excited about Minnesota though :) Not trying to put a damper on anything, just want to make sure accurate info is out there.

Really good news, looks like the organization is doing a good job!
But....
I'm tried of hearing about the money bomb. "everyone must be maxed out". No man, we're all broke. Nothing against Paul, but a lot of the grass roots doesn't have disposable income; we have bills to pay.

Slightly inaccurate. We haven't won all of the delegates. There were 3 conventions last Saturday, but there was one more that has already been held. We currently have 10/12 of the delegates that have been allocated so far.

Plus the MN GOP chairman gets a seat - Romney
The national committeman gets a seat - Romney
and the national committewoman gets a seat - Paul

So, the current tally is Paul 11, Santorum 2, and Romney 2. None of which are bound so they can change their minds at any time.

Pat Anderson, former state auditor and nat. committeewoman, is a political animal but is very liberty-friendly and can be counted as a very likely Paul vote, especially when almost completely surrounded by her in-state Paul delegates. But you wouldn't want to bet your life on her vote going our way no matter what.

Are you going to be voting in new National Committee man and woman at the State convention in St. Cloud and also new party chair or did they do that off year already?

There are also more MN caucuses this weekend for the remaining districts. I hope no one is forgetting that. MN is not done yet.
