During the 2008 campaign, the Nolan Chart website became a hub of pro-Ron Paul activity, and it helped to energize the Revolution. The Nolan Chart is open to all political viewpoints, which is one reason why our articles get included in Google News. This gives the Chart and its columnists an opportunity to reach a wider audience. While the site cannot be and is not an exclusively pro-Ron Paul site, it is an excellent venue for reaching a wider audience with the good Doctor's message.
Our philosophy is that we must Be The Media. Like ronpaulforums.com, we decry the ignorance (and sometimes deliberate misrepresentation of the facts) by the major media on a wide range of issues. The most effective way to fight back is to become the media, to be the media.
Ron Paul supporters are invited to become contributors at the 'Chart. We do require that you obey certain common sense rules that are detailed here. Among other things, factual claims must be backed by documented evidence. Thus, conspiracy theories for their own sake are discouraged except when credible evidence are cited and linked to within the articles in support of those theories. All articles pass through a submission process during which each article is vetted to make sure that it conforms to the rules and is written to conform to the stylistic requirements of the site. Articles queued for submission are checked at least twice each day and sometimes more often, insuring that your article will receive it's review within 24 hours or less.
Regarding photos and artwork, we do not provide a way to upload graphics and images. However, if you have a server of your own where you can host such graphics and images, you are welcome to link to them from within your article. Just make sure that you have ownership rights over that artwork and images, or that the owners of the artwork or images have given you written permission to use them before you do so. Copyright violation in any form at the Nolan Chart will not be tolerated.
Ron Paul has a few voices of support on the news portion of the 'net, but he needs more, particularly given the obvious intentions of the major media to shut his ideas and proposals out of serious consideration in the race. The only remedy for this is participation in presenting quality articles by his supporters. With his recent insurgence in the Iowa polls showing that he is now a credible threat to win the Iowa caucuses outright six weeks from now, the need for voices of clarity and reason are more desperately needed than ever before.
So if you have an ability to write well in defense of Dr. Paul, you are invited to become a columnist at the Nolan Chart website. Just visit our Be A Columnist page to open your account. If you already have an account, you can simply Logon.
