Ron tweeted this article today, here: https://twitter.com/RonPaul/status/318836341196591106

The love of liberty is not exclusive to the United States.

Evidence of the universality of the “yearning to be free” is found in the enthusiastic reception given to former congressman Ron Paul at an appearance in Santiago, Chile.

The libertarian icon was in Chile’s capital city as part of the annual “Sovereign Man” conference.

According to the event’s organizer Simon Black (an alias), the philosophy informing the meeting is the belief that “in order to achieve true freedom, you have to be able to make money, control your time, and eliminate the mindset that you are subject to a corrupt government that is bent on degrading your personal liberty.”

Sounds like something right up Ron Paul’s alley.

He's turning into quite a world traveler. Never expected to read about Ron getting a warm reception in places like Chile. The guy really is a world wide rock star and would have done so much to repair the US' damaged image as President. Damn shame.

I think he is respected around the globe. I hope he travels more, but I hope there is more media on it. This was practically a black out. The stories are based on a handful of tweets, a couple of photographs, one interview with an unnamed person, and background.

Wow. What a bold concept. Why wouldn't Rand at least talk about this wonderful, liberty-oriented concept? Is he afraid the conservatives and independents are going to turn on him for talking about ending the IRS? If he thinks this, he's wrong.
