I have seen that at least two of the four main characters on the show like Ron Paul, so it would be a cool media stunt for him to stop by and buy/pawn something and be on TV (much needed free press).

Pawn something light hearted like a Paul for President 1988 sign, saying they are a rare find, and a classic growing in popularity.

That's actually a really good idea.

Unfortunately, I don't know if he is still in state.

Nah he needs to bring in a rare coin or something that would make the old man or Chumlee go ga-ga over and instead of pawning, just get it appraised and Ron Paul can tell the story behind it plus throw in some truth bombs.

That is a great idea. Since chum and the younger son are fans this would be grrst on tv publicity.

The Pawn Stars young guys are Ron Paul fans? Nice! That is such a cool idea. Not sure if they are still there though but still cool.

My 64 year old parents love this show. Everytime they say the name of it outloud I cringe though...

Wow, great idea!!

Probably not a bad idea to contact the show as well as the campaign.

Ron Paul might have something legit to sell in his collection 'o stuff related to the Founding Fathers that he might not mind parting with for a little TV publicity and some $$

The episode wouldn't air till next year anyway (or late 2012). The local media attention would probably be worth it though. Wonder if there's some equal time law against it?

Maybe he can ask to buy back the Constitution...it seems to be lost. :p

He could always just autograph something and pawn it. A nice perk of being a popular presidential candidate.

Paul should not pawn anything - it would be played in the media a "Paul pawns gold to help campaign" - bad idea to sell. Indifferent to the idea of Paul buying something.

He'd have to sell it. Pawning something is essentially going into debt at interest. He doesn't do that too often.
