How interesting...

Why would Knox County GOP invite Ron Paul? The only reason why they'd invite him is if they thought his name would pull a large house, or they're trying to get liberty people's money/participation into the party.

Does Ron get paid 50k to be there?

Also, how ironic that Ron is going to Rothschild's catering and conference hall, maybe he'll need a nice long shower afterwards...

Ron is good friends with Rep Jimmy Duncan who's district is Knoxville. Duncan was one of the few Republicans who voted against the invasion of Iraq.

And it's a Lincoln Day Dinner :p

No Ron isn't charging for this, I saw that somewhere. And I think Rothchild is spelled differently.... :p

But yeah, they went to their largest venue when they asked Ron, I hope it is packed!

Rothschild catering....it's poison!

/sarcasm

Nice to see Ron and Jimmy Duncan getting together.

I can't go (currently residing in Japan) so some fam are attending in my stead :D So excited for them, I told them if they don't get pictures or get some books autographed for me I will cutoff fresh green tea shipments immediately.

I'm going, did anyone get any communication from the Knoxville GOP for tickets etc? I've not received anything.

Did you get yours? There is a link in the OP where you can get them, or did you order and they haven't come? Maybe you are to pick them up there? I'm not sure what you mean, if you ordered yet or not.

Got the answer, tickets are will call so my paypal receipt is what I need. Just incase anyone else needs the question answered.

I estimate about 800 people came to see Ron Paul speak at the Knoxville Republican Party dinner last night; the room was at full capacity! About half the room were non Ron Paul supporters. There is no doubt in my mind that we blew them away with our enthusiasm for the ideals that Ron espouses especially considering most of them had never heard anything like that before

Jimmy Duncan is the last remaining GOP member in Congress who voted against the Iraq war in 2003

He is therefore a national treasure and symbol.
