Ron Paul: Says National Press Ignores Him

Of ALL things to highlight from the conversation, they choose that? Yeeesh. Journalism STINKS.

Note the video clip those jerks chose to place with the article:

Ron Paul Booed by Debate Audience Watch Video

And ABC wonders why they're becoming increasingly irrelevant?

Of course. If you have to print the substance of what he says, make it seem that the article will be far more boring, innoculate yourself against a few more months of ignoring him at the same time because all anyone will remember is that he says he's being ignored but clearly isn't at the moment, and don't post a video of what he says but of him reacting to what some heckler yells.

Journalism doesn't stink. This, on the other hand, does stink. It just isn't journalism.

Paul waxing poetic about American freedom and liberty, righting the wrongs, why we got here, how we get out...a truly inspirational speech...

And ABC ignores all that and writes a piece on how Paul thinks he's being ignored. Super.

Ron Paul said a few dozen things they should be concentrating on.

Ron Paul says end the pointless, uncontitutional wars.

Ron Paul says End the Fed

Ron Paul says he raised $8,000,000 in the last quarter....

and that is the headline they chose, huh?

Oh jeez what an awful article! Not in the sense of spin, but my oh my - there is zero substance!

From the colorful speech he gave at the Press Club earlier today outlining in great detail his platform positions on a whole cross-section of issues, and that's all they can write about that???

ABC continues to embarrass itself in amateurish reporting. Please don't waste your time on this, people.

Maybe it is a case of the journalists being self-obsessed so that is the memorable part of the speech for them? Or, as said before, is it that the MSM just doesn't understand Dr Paul's ideas within their little soap opera/tabloid view of politics?

But yeah, that was an awesome speech full of big ideas and ABC's article highlights such petty little aspects of it. Pathetic journalism.

Perhaps the media should have concentrated a bit on his suggestion that it is now reasonable to believe that a journalist could be assassinated if they become a "threat" to the government.

or MAYBE that's exactly why this journalist didn't mention that other stuff......wouldn't want to be a threat or anything....

I was figuring this was the 'immediate' article to justify the lunch and to get out high points before others do. I'm hoping the thoughtful pieces are yet to come. That is what happened with the Christian Science Monitor breakfast.

So I've looked around and found no links--is there any video of this speech?
