Ron Paul Says "It's Likely" That He Will Endorse Nancy Mace in SC Against Graham

I listened to the Beck interviews of Mace and Bright yesterday. I gotta give the advantage to Bright as the person capable of taking Graham on.

I still think that Mace is a better strategic candidate to put up, and if Ron Paul endorses her over Bright, I'd trust him to have a reason.

Donating to either one helps because the goal is to have a runoff.

And always remember: if Mace gets the primary nod, Lee Bright will still be able to work with Tom Davis in the State Senate.

Maybe Rand should gamble? the RINOS won't vote for him anyway, would the real conservatives appreciate it?

We need to play hard to win. I think Rand should go after him AND McConnell.

Rand would be stupid to offer an opinion on the race, unless it appears that Graham will lose.

Psychologically, having two candidates fighting over liberty money is bad. Some potential donators will find the decision too complicated, and thus donate to neither of them. It'd be nice to think that everyone who had a tough time deciding between Bright and Mace gave half of their donation to both. But more often than not, it's zero. In the age of having to back everything up with evidence and studies, nobody will believe me. But I know I'm right.

Wouldn't people be more likely to donate if they thought that by donating, their preferred candidate stood a chance of winning? On the other hand, if a donation won't cause their candidate to win, why donate? (how many people will donate using strategy more sophisticated than that?)

Don't be so hard on 'your' own and learn that running sometimes is for the next time in a practical sense. Treat everyone with respect, debate the issues and may the best man/woman win each step of the way. You can vote for the best in your opinion without trashing the others. Ron Paul has a lot of experience in these matters. More than most of us! Give your input when asked -- especially if you have worked hard enough and visibly enough to be asked for it.

Be careful who you promote and what organizations you donate to. I believe in keeping things local and giving to candidates that take my phone calls and ask for my input.

Do unto others as you would like to have done unto you along the way.

I prefer an inanimate carbon rod to Lindsey Graham.
