Ron Paul Says "It's Likely" That He Will Endorse Nancy Mace in SC Against Graham

yesssssssss. Rand can't get dirty in this game but I'm happy Ron will :)

This was just e-mailed to me by Megan:

Earlier tonight at the Young Americans for Liberty National Convention Dr. Ron Paul was asked about a primary challenge to South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. To clarify, no endorsement of any candidate has been made by Dr. Paul in this race.

"It is my understanding that there are three good friends and outstanding candidates who are considering challenging Senator Graham," said Dr. Ron Paul. "My staff and I are looking into the race and I look forward to endorsing one of the candidates at the appropiate time."

Thank You,

Megan Stiles
Spokeswoman for Ron Paul

Maybe Rand should gamble? the RINOS won't vote for him anyway, would the real conservatives appreciate it?

We need to play hard to win. I think Rand should go after him AND McConnell.

That tweet was a short version of Paul's response, but it pulled it out of context. Here is what I got listening from the audience (posted at http://twitter.com/DanielSurman)

.@RonPaul just said it is" very likely" he will be making an endorsement in the #scsen primary with @LindseyGrahamSC.

.@RonPaul said that while his education projects have taken up much of his time, the #scsen primary "will get my attention."

Paul said 3 or 4 candidates were considering challenging Graham in #scsen, but he's willing to endorse Mace "if she's the one." #yalcon13

I would endorse powdered toast man over Graham.

I don't think Rand will endorse in the SC Senate primary, unless there is a run-off, which I would then expect him to endorse whomever is running against Graham in the run off.

As far as McConnell, Rand has already endorsed him.

I think Lee Bright is the better bet for U.S. Senate, let Mace take the State House or State Senate because there's gonna be a void to fill.

I like Bright as well, I have listened to both of them on the libertarian glen beck radio show and seen both of them on 1 FOX news interview, Bright seems A) more polished and B) more ready to be blatantly libertarian.

Example:

Nancy Mace said "I'll stand with Rand"
Lee Bright said " Our own government is a bigger threat to the American people than terrorism"

Thats the kind of talk I like to hear.
