Ron Paul Revolution March Ideas Here!

What about the idea of planning this for the GOP National Convention instead?

We would get sooo much more media exposure.

Both are doable. Some cant make it to the dc, some cant make it to the gnc. do both. but I am doing what ron paul hinted at.. june 21st.

What about both? The first one could get people (and delegates) aware of how real all of us are. And then when we try to convince the delegates to not vote for McCain they might be more inclined to. We could get them feeling as passionate as we do and then remind them again at the convention.

I would travel to both - but I think if we want to really maximize the effect - it needs to be just one huge rally that everyone plans around.

we need GREAT ads made for it, and with a nice site set up, we would all contribute to have it run nationally

First Stand

This is our last stand. We must make a big impression upon the establishment. Maybe we could spread his new book around as well "The Revolution: A Manifesto."

I respectfully disagree. This is not our last stand. It is our FIRST stand. Perhaps even the one from which the LIBERTY MOVEMENT will be dated. (as distinguished from the Ron Paul Movement).

Both for sure. There about 2 months apart. It should be doable. But definitely stick to Washington on June 21st.

If it's June 21 for D.C., and Sept for RNC, that should be good. Three months separation, and two completely different parts of the country, means more people can go. And most people that could go to one probably couldn't go to the other anyway, so it's not really spreading ourselves thin. And if they could to either, they probably can pull off both with that much time in between.

We Need To Communicate With JUSTINE LAM!

It's wonderful that so many good ideas are being expressed in this thread, but we need to be careful in our planning of this march. Whatever is collectively organized at the grassroots level MUST have the implicit agreement ;) of R.P. - else he will NOT appear (watch the 3/6 video a few more times and read between the lines of his words if you disagree).

Now, there exists a person associated with the official campaign who is no Kerri Price (i.e., incompetent megalomaniac), but who (IMO) understands exactly where we are coming from here in cyberspace. Her name is JUSTINE LAM. If we make a concerted effort to communicate with her and establish our bona fides, then she could act as a "cutout" between us and R.P., so that we would have the input of someone who is VERY close to R.P. - someone who could give us feedback and direction.

Organizing multiple marches with multiple - competing - organizational structures is the way to dilute our efforts and minimize the potential impact our work will have on the larger body politic. With the right person coordinating our individual efforts (and here I am suggesting that we at least try working with Justine Lam) we will minimize the chances of our revolutionary movement splintering into fractious infighting with competing (ultimately incompatible) agendas. And nothing would please our adversaries more than that!
