I am running for U.S. House in Texas, CD6. I am running as a Republican, however you better believe I am not the normal Republican. I will actually listen to my constituents and follow the Constitution. I am running to shine a light on topics the Republican party will not talk about. Foreign policy, monetary policy and the war on drugs. I would also like to push to make the use of industrial hemp legal. I am pro 2nd amendment more so than even most Republicans. I have been doing open carry walks all across the state of Texas to educate people about firearms. I am up against a 30 year incumbent Joe Barton, who votes for the NDAA, CISPA, banker bail outs and Monsanto. I am the ONLY candidate that will take votes away from the Democratic and third parties. Please like my page and join me in the fight for liberty! Thank you.

I am worried that you and Frank Kuchar will split the non RINO vote and Barton will win...

Liked that page but I suggest you change your avatar here just a bit.;)

Awesome. I don't Facebook (because it's evil), but I'll spread the word when your website is up.

Asking for money from people who know my passion and desire to fight for liberty. Let's be realistic unless someone unloads the wallet 500,000K is very hard to get to.

Apparently not for Mr. Barton and the, say, 500+ other candidates running for Congress in 2014.

So what total are you expecting to raise? $20,000? How do you plan on paying for voter contact, GOTV, and a high quality campaign manager?

I have no set goal in mind as far as raising funds. Mr. Barton gets his donations from the big boys. There is a reason he has been in for 30 years. People in this area are very fed up with him and are looking for a change. I plan on making voter contact by going to local meetings for different organizations, social media and door knocking. One of the many things I want to do during the campaign is educate the Republican Party on what liberty & freedom really truly mean. Start talking about issues most won't touch.

In Liberty!

Don't Kory. Why not campaign for TJ, Medina, Kuchar. Isn't your time better spent getting them elected? And, Like others said. Why are you willing to pull votes away from Kuchar?

Have you ever volunteered or worked on a campaign before?

I don't want to work for a campaign after I was tossed under the bus by them and the Tea Party, for posting pro 2nd amendment Facebook post. (Kuchar, long story) Already compromising just to win. Is that now how we got here? I will be walking for all the others.

Plenty of time. I have been non stop fighting for liberty and freedom since I woke up and realized what a mess we are in. I will be in this fight everyday until my last breath.

I didn't ask if you've been "fighting for liberty." I asked if you've ever volunteered or worked on a campaign. The language of your posts to me suggests that you haven't. For example, when I was talking about 'voter contact,' I wasn't talking about going to local meetings and knocking on some doors. I'm talking about phone calls, mailers, and more phone calls. I'm talking about identifying supporters and non-supporters. All that requires money.

Look, I like that you want to take this big step and that you want to turn this country around, but if you don't take this race seriously, all you're going to end up doing is flushing your friends' and family's money down the toilet all so your ego can get 10% in a primary. You need a path to victory that's more substantial and realistic than "Shaking hands = votes."
