vector graphics vs Bitmap

FYI for those of you who are unaware of this...

Vector graphics are scalable to any size without having any impact to the quality of the drawing. This is due to the fact that vector graphics are stored on the computers as a bunch of equations (shapes and attributes)

This is unlike bitmap graphics where you would see 'pixelation' (quality degradation) if you increase or decrease the size of the original graphic.
