just be himself.
You know, be the elderly gent that drops truth bombs left and right. Be the guy that got your attention. Be the guy that won you over. Be the guy who showed you what an honest politician looked like, when we'd all but given up hope one existed. Be the guy that reminded you what liberty is, and what America is, and stands for. Be, you know, the guy that probably even got you to reread (or read) our Constitution. Be the guy who has always spoke and acted with consistent principle, and acted with an integrity that is rare among even the most honorable of men.
Ron Paul should be that guy. You know... the guy he's always been, and always will be. And is now. The one you love.
This guy won your heart, right? He will win more. And more. Because it's worth remembering he never tailored his message for you - just look around these forums, and you'll see ex-neo-cons calmly discussing foreign policy with ex-liberals alongside peaceniks, veterans, and anarchists, men of god gleefully discussing the latest vids with godless heathens (like me), men and women, young and old, all cheering together when Ron Paul knocks one out of the park on national tv. We're here not because he swayed us with pandering smooth talk - his message spoke to all of us from all our varied backgrounds. The man speaks truth to power at a time when, as he might say, truth is treason. And that message unifies us all.
He won you over, and me over, being exactly who he is.
Stop worrying about every last little thing. Stop needing him to change who he is or how he presents himself (hint: he won't). Him being him worked for you, and me, and you and you and you. We don't need him to change. He won't change. We're in the middle of winning a revolution, and some of you still complain his suit doesn't quite fit. I mean, c'mon. His suit probably didn't sit quite right the night you realized you could never vote for anyone but Ron Paul.
Let Ron be Ron. He's catching on, I'm tellin' ya.
