This will be the biggest venue Ron Paul has spoken at in over a year. We are looking to ship in 100s of Ron Paul 2012 signs. This could be the media splash that makes Ron Paul's announcement inevitable! Please make plans now to attend!

If you wish to reserve a VIP-section seat before they are all taken, a donation of $50 can secure you one (only one seat per sponsor, read further below for more details). After Sunday, October 10th, the VIP reserved seats will become $75 per seat, so hurry because they’ll be going fast! You can donate through PayPal at this link.

Our student group in particular has proven without a doubt that the message and urgency for liberty has been spreading and your donation will support Dr. Paul’s trip to IU and the education of thousands of college students, as well as future liberty events. We appreciate all of you who have donated in the past and made possible hosting speakers like Tom Woods and a major membership-based expansion of YAL @ IU. In order to fund this event and ones to come, we’re making a donation goal of $8000 (so far YAL Nationals has put down $1,100) and need your help to finance advertisements, a new office headquarters on campus, and future speakers such as those from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.

I am coming to this from Illinois and am bringing lots of people with me (anyone who I can gather up, so far 7) -- This is an open auditorium with "unlimited seating"?? How many people are expected to show up and how many people are able to fit in IU's auditorium?
-
I am greatly looking forward to this event as I want to start networking and use my ideas and passion to support this cause (wasn't fully aware of him until to late last election cycle)

We can use all the people!!!

The auditorium is huge - please help us promote this event, we have very limited budget. Infact, we need someone to donate Ron Paul 2012 signs - can anyone help me coordinate that?

Check out the official poster: http://www.scribd.com/doc/38569009/Final-Ron-Paul-Poster-IU-Bloomington-Oct-25-7-PM

What do you need in order to donate Ron Paul signs? Money? If so, how much (I am just curious, maybe I can scrap some up) -- I will be promoting it as I hope to get everyone I know (from my former school at U of I) to all my friends to come out to this event. I am very excited. I would be willing to help, so let me know what you need and I will see If I can help you with it. My email is [email protected] which is the best way to contact me for specifics if you are trying to delegate something (cannot promise I will be able to do it, but if I can I am definitely down to help).

Let me know, you are doing a great thing. Me and one of my friends are in the YAL at UofIllinois (both graduated now) so we are willing to help.

His Feet?

They are definitely planted deep in the fields of liberty! He has principle...

My friend, Nate designed the poster. Honestly, I bet it looked just as awkward to show the feet...kind of like a medieval fresco:

as a business owner and a small time investor i don't give money without seeing your financial statement.

EDIT: ESP when its supported by a university student government, they waste so much money its not even funny. they charge like 100 dollars to every student and give it to the groups to just promote dumb shit (not saying this is dumb but other stuff).

The paypal in the links of the post goe right to the IU YAL's bank account. We could just use some help getting RP 2012 signs shipped to us. Perhaps we could talk on the phone?

My email is [email protected]
paypal accepted.

Any donations to my paypal, above, will go toward 3000 doorhangers for the event, posters and flyers.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier; I would have kicked in for some signs...

As it is, I am in the auditorium right NOW! (Big Grin!) It is filling up nicely even though it is only a little after 6:30.

Auditorium is PACKED! Looks like it is going to be standing room only. And people are still coming in and searching for seats.

I just got back from this. I recorded live video which I'll trim and upload sometime in the next week.

I was plagued by camera trouble part of the night, so I missed the first probly 2 minutes of the press conference. I did however get the whole speech and Q&A recorded. I also went to the Ron Stock after party to film Ron Paul and many of his loyal followers.

I spoke to Dr. Paul a few times, but he was very busy, and many people wanted to talk to him, so it was very brief.

As for his speech, it was great, right to the point on all the main issues he stands for. The place was full, and the crowd really got into his message. After seeing him live, it amazes me that he wasn't voted in as president in '08.

Once I get the video work done, I'll post some links.
