Alex just asked Pat what advice he would give Ron Paul, and Pat said that Ron's doing a great job and doesn't really need his advice, but if he could tell him one thing it would be this:

if Ron Paul can place third in Iowa, that's great. I think he can place first in Nevada, New Hampshire and possibly in South Carolina but more likely second or third.

the way Ron Paul has balanced his Congressional full-time job with his campaign means he has only been in Iowa 17 times v. Romney's 112 times, etc. Iowa always becomes a religious vote, much like South Carolina it seems.
