Ron Paul on the TOP of Drudge!

+rep!

the article is snide though. "He didn't win last time and since I still don't like him he obviously won't win this time either.'

I liked this comment at the bottom:

According to Cillizza, Paul has shown — and he did it again in the debate last night — that he has little interest in expanding beyond that base of people. Being anti-war is just not mainstream enough for the Washington Post.

We should be tempering expectations right now, but any positive press is always good.

The Campaign does in the article:

“Michele is pushing full force, Tim Pawlenty has an expensive team of top-drawer consultants and Mitt Romney, the national front runner, is working hard behind the scenes,” said Paul campaign manager Jesse Benton. “We hope to do well, compete with these big names and finish right there with them in the top four.”

Too bad the article and its turdly author are turdy turds.

Chris Cilliza is actually pretty respected in Washington. But I think this whole "he won't actually win Iowa or the nomination" meme that the media's trying to perpetuate today will be cancelled out tomorrow if he proves he actually can win.

Maybe to not stress the "straw" part of it to give it more significance.

Drudge likes Paul.

The only problem is that this is not a favorable article and it will cue 'the spin' to be given a good showing, and will raise expectations.

Fortunately it is Friday.
