Ron Paul on the 1792 Coinage Act and the Death Penalty for Counterfeiting

Oh so sinister. I think he is enjoying being able to cause so much political pain lately.

Well, it's about time. He's been talking about this stuff for 30 years, and no one's been listening. I'd say he finally feels a little bit of vindication, and that's a great feeling, even if there's still a ton of work left to be done.

its worse...

Merrie Auld England would "draw and quarter" someone literally for messing with the Royal Mint... when Richard III had his poor
brother-in-law, Lord Rivers beheaded, he was being nice... --- Isaac Newton, as the head of the Royal Mint, personally supervised more than a few beheadings! we actually are more mildmannered, now... and less brutal than our ancestors...
