Ron Paul on NPR today 6/21/07 (11 stations in Iowa will Broadcast)

He needs to hone his talk about global warming too. He's going to be hit up about that one in the future.

There must have been a few different streams. I never heard the truck driver(was he the one asking about why we should eliminate dept of education?) or anything about fed reserve.

Nice long interview. Zoomed by. The "damn itching" for the next appearance starts as soon as one interview is over.

I am so much more pumped for June 30. I wish they would have talked more about Ed Failure.

That was him. Then he asked about welfare, and getting rid of it. Sort of a mixed bag.

Al fin.

He needs to clean up his global warming talking, and emphasize more clearly how states rights are a great compromise for liberals.

Yeah, the truck driver asked why would we want to get rid of DOE but then said that welfare was supposed to be temorary. You could tell he hadn't been schooled in Paul yet, but those are the people we need to reach.

I hope a lot of Iowans heard this! Ron Paul at his best! If he was invited to that forum his speech would had made the others look like amateurs.

He didn't say as much, but sounded excited about the prospect of a huge crowd OUTSIDE the forum. I bet he'd do it. I am SO there!

Can't you see it -- a hundred people inside, a thousand people outside. Where are the tv cameras going to be?

It sounds wonderful, but I seem to recall that Alan Keyes was arrested for something similiar. The press did not treat him kindly when that happened.

Yeah, but he's got to hone his statements about:
1. What will happen in Iraq when we leave and why we shouldn't just stay because of the concern about escalating the civil war, or the concern about the oil.
2. Global warming and how it should be handled.

He was trying to get in. Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik and the Green candidate got arrested trying to enter the debates in 2004. They had a Notice to Show Cause from a court that they were trying to deliver to the CPD.

Man... even one hour is not enough to explain anything in detail! 'Fascist medical care' was too bad a comment. - Paul's aggressiveness is good but he should not mention these terms in any case since he never has enough time to explain his background and gets cornered.

As long as he was not on private land and had the necessary licenses (isn't that just disgusting?), I don't see how they could legitimately arrest him. We certainly would want to do this whole thing legally, or it would likely backfire on us and lend credibility to the "fringe" claim.

Thought it was interesting 2 democratic supporters called in. Democrats wouldn't show up in a poll of republicans. Makes one wonder what Dr. Paul's real numbers are.
