I wanted to make sure you read this part first so it sticks in your head. I advise we send in tons of questions for Dr. Ron Paul. This is how :

I know you can't wait to spread the news!

Its a Myspace / AP / MTV Event @ 6 PM Eastern Standard Time

Ron Paul and other candidates such as Barack Obama and Mike Huckebee will have 15 - 20 minutes in real time question answering.

6PM Est. Watch on TV @ :
MTV, MTV2 and MTV Tr3s

6PM Est. Watch Online @ :
MySpace’s Impact Channel, the social network’s political hub, as well as MTV’s ChooseOrLose.com; on radio via XM Satellite Radio, MTV and AP Radio; and on mobile phones through MTV Mobile. It will also be translated to Spanish and broadcast online on ImpreMedia’s LaVibra. Additionally, the Associated Press will distribute a live feed and on-demand highlights of the dialogue to the 1,800 media sites in its Online Video Network; nearly 600 of those are local TV, newspaper or radio sites in states with Super Tuesday primaries on February 5.

Does anyone know if Paul will be there in person??? I heard he was going to do it by satellite..

I think that is a HUGE mistake, no one looks good on satellite, and he won't be able to connect with the audience. I still remember Bill Clinton doing the MTV thing and everyone loved him for it. Just imagine if it was Satellite, it would have been the most boring thing ever.

I heard the same thing.

It probably was a scheduling conflict that caused it. He wasn't originally slated to be part of the program, and was added later. I assume that they scheduled something else during that time, and didn't want to have to reschedule that time slot, but wanted to be part of the MTV program.

I guess it was a trade-off -- but being there on a satellite feed is better than not being there at all imho.

Exactly! The great thing is it will be McCain and Romney free!!!

"Each candidate will have the floor for roughly 15-20 minutes..."

Are you kidding me? 20 minutes of just Ron Paul in front of a national audience! No way they let this happen. Somebody's getting fired if this actually happens. The higher ups will not be happy.

I'm staying positive..

Hopefully he'll be able to hear the concerned audience's voices and reply to them rather than just hear them.

I'm looking forward to see Ron Paul & Obama debate at the same time, tomorrow.

It looks as though Ron Paul not showing up in person is a lie.... I can't find any information supporting that claim.

One of you younger, techy-types needs to upload a video asking why, when the phrase "the borrower is slave to the lender" is a good lesson for us all, the government is borrowing money from CHINA!!!! That would be my question but I am not a student so i can't sign up for the Think MTV thing.
Thanks!

Is it just me, or will this be Paul's single best opportunity to win votes so far in the campaign?

15min of floor time per candidate? A young audience?

Bring it on!!

I just HOPE that Ron Paul will have the floor LAST so he can mop up all the crap spewed from the other candidates. They'd better not give him the floor first and give an opportunity for the other candidates to undermine his message without him being able to respond.

Good point! Either way, i was thinking a few weeks ago how Clinton did so well in the 90s after he did MTV. This is pauls real chance at getting his platform out. We also need to ask him to explain his stance on the income tax. I am 33 and i cant tell you how many people I know that despise working hard all week only to loose a third of their money before they even cash their check. Younger people are even more unhappy about this. This would be the best question IMO as well as the Iraq War and how he would pull out in the first week in office. We need to be there for him and submit questions. Im going to do that right now. You guys do it too so they will ask atleast these two questions. Thanks!!!

Other than his initial exclusion, I haven't looked into this debate all that much.

Is McRomney really not going to be there?

I hope Ron Paul is briefed and coached well PRIOR to the MTV/MySpace event, so the 18-29 age group can understand without straining.

Of course... whats the bet on how many jokes HUCK tells?

Odds on him playing the BASS again?

Submit your questions to MTV/Myspace!!!!

"On February 2, Ron Paul will appear in the MySpace/MTV Closing Arguments. Also appearing will be Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Mike Huckabee.

Film yourself asking a question you'd like to pose to ALL of the candidates and upload over at myspace.com/election2008.

Soon MySpace and MTV will make all submissions available for viewing for community rating and one of the top-rated questions could be posed to the candidates LIVE on Feb 2. Please keep your videos under 30 seconds long.

Get over to myspace.com/election2008 and check it out and participate."

Ok go to the myspace website and right around the middle of the complete video of McCain Speaking, someone asked a Ron Paul question to him. It was "How do you explain that Congressman Paul has raised more money than any other candidate from men and women in the Armed Services?" The screen name that asked MTV was tia_avende_alantin

This question was asked to him after he went on and on and on (very SLLLLOWLY) about why it's a good idea to be at war... (of course.)

www.MySpace.Com/Election2008

McCain answered and said he knows many thousands of military people and he receives emails from them, and he knows how they all feel... he said they aren't fighting there illegally, or for oil, or for an empire... they are fighting because they want America to be safe. He said "CONGRESSMAN PAUL IS WRONG AND I DON'T CARE WHAT HIS STATISTICS ARE."

I can't give a minute time location for the video because it doesn't show one.

Adding - I forgot to say that one of his big reasons that he gave in the beginning of his war speech as to why we are fighting is because we "rely on that part of the world for many things."
