The civil war wasn't about slavery. Neo-cons went back and rewrote history to make it politically incorrect to be against the civil war by turning it into a civil rights war.

I don't know why people think I said that I thought it was about slavery. It was about preserving the union. Durrrrr.... I think that's a good thing. Whatevs to the haters of the South who say let them secede. That's just idiotic. Also whatevs to the people who say there was a right to secede. For a state to become a state, the Union has to agree to let it in. Same idea follows about letting them leave. Durrrr....

I don't think Ron Paul should give up his ground on this one. This is revolution for a reason, people are no longer subject to the media and history books for their information. It's high time americans learn to think for them selves.
