If I'm not mistaken, Tim R. announced that RP will be on Meet the Press next Sunday. Can anyone confirm?

I saw it --- It is happening. I had a thread going in the bad media reporting trying to get people to email the show. Looks like it worked.

Will Tim have Huckabee on as well so they can try and overshadow Ron, like they did on Face The Nation?

Somehow I see Tim being very fair to Ron, but of course, it's ultimately not up to Tim, now is it?

Ron needs to make sure he mentions his abortion position (overturn Roe v Wade, and specifically WHY), end the IRS (since some GOP candidates are stealing that one from him, lol), and gets out some truths about Federal Reserve inflation and the tax that comes from it. That, and cutting spending.

Those are the key issues for him right now.

Don't let Tim direct the interview Ron, YOU direct the interview!

Yes he is on the 23rd!

When it was reported that Ron Paul was not on the website for the "Meet the Candidates" interview, I sent them an email. I just got the reply back this morning.

"Thank you so much for your email.

I just wanted to let you know that Congressman Ron Paul will be a guest on Meet the Press next Sunday, Dec. 23rd. We hope you'll be watching.

Best regards,

I also saw the official ad for Ron Paul on Meet the Press next week after this morning's show (which had Mitt Romney)

We need to give meet the press a gigantic rating. Everyone set your DVRs and if you know someone with a nielson box, make sure they watch. If they get a huge rating, other shows will want to have him.

I'm sure the media already knows the ratings spikes they get from RP appearances.

I mean, Glenn Beck's gonna have him on for an hour. He'll get the best ratings he's ever had.

Figures, that an HOUR time slot for Ron goes to the MSM pundit with the LEAST ratings.

What I'd like to know, is the actual amount of advertising interest there will be for that hour time slot.

None of us count as "ratings" unless we have a Nielsen box. They take the Nielsen boxes and multiply them over the whole of the US, just as they do with those polls that have him at 8% or so.

It's an unfortunate way to handle ratings, but that's how they do it. College students and young people are much less likely to have a Nielsen box than older people and families.

I emailed the show and told them that Ron will do well in Iowa and great in NH and they will look foolish if they did not have him on.
I also raved about Tim's grilling of Il Duce Giuliani. He was really squirming.

I will continue to preach this. The publicity stunts we are doing for Dr. Paul are wonderful ( raising huge sums of money /blimp / etc), but we need to get this man MORE PRESS.

He will not win unless we bombard big media to cover this man now!
We need to organize and HIT THE PHONES.
Emails are 100x less powerful and intrusive than phone calls, big media has endless paid interns that can and will ignore this.
We have and continue to do a phenomenal job of canvassing the internet, Ron Paul owns the internet and will continue to.
It's time we concentrate on another front, the real front, big media and the TV.
This is the only way, look at google news right now! a blimp, record amounts of cash, no attention.
Take over the TV
Take over the TV
Take over the TV and then we will know who the president will be.

We can't just sit behind our laptops and hope the media will pay attention, please read about the 60's and what people did before the internet ( they make us look apathetic! )

MSM must be up late watching the donation tally!!!

LOOK AT THIS EMAIL I JUST REC'D!!!!

Thanks for your email. At the end of today's show, Mr. Russert announced that Ron Paul will be a guest on Meet the Press next Sunday December 23rd. We hope you'll be watching.

PUT DECEMBER 23rd ON YOUR CALENDAR!!!

It's cool that he's going to be on Dec 23, because that was also the same day the Federal Reserve was signed into law. He should definitely talk about that, and maybe the Fed protest if it looks like a decent amount of people are participating.
