Ron Paul On Maddow Tonight

i just dislike her show because she blames everything on "deregulation" without explaining what deregulation that Bush's last 8 years actually did... i would love to see how Bush's term was "deregulatory"

a list of 5 or 6 deregulatory legislative acts would be a nice start.

its annoying, its like they're saying that Bush just stepped in and said NO MORE LAWS!

thats garbage, it was a massive increase in the size of government.

the only deregulation ever cited, the gramm/leach biley act or whatever, was CLINTON, and was not supported by the Gold Standard of hands off economics.

I din't like her at first at all, but I can stomach her and respect her because she does not hide her bias and will rationalize it (Ican't watch most of what's on FOX at all).

She is thoughtful but yes very "progressive" yet is intelligent enough to convey her beliefs and thoughtful enough to listen to the other side and in the NY Times she did say when asked who was her favorite Republican, she said Ron Paul. NY Times

She is often on Hardball as a 'progressive' or 'left' leaning pundit and Buchanan is the 'conservative' or 'right leaning' and I have grown to respect her although I disagree with her political ideology she is civil and get's the other side. Especially with Buchanan acting more like a "little c conservative" lately. Her humor is sharp and sometimes too much, but it is smart although definitely very "progressive" as MSNBC acts like they are (owned by GE).

I hope her show will ask if the Republican party has a schism or is reforming. She will bring up Paul as a limited government pro civil liberty conservative, bring up the neoconservative which have taken in the religious right with being against the 'islamofacists' and anti-civil liberties in the laws that they make.

Maddow > Obermann for what that's worth.

I hope you're joking. Like every other liberal in the media (or on this message board), she likes Ron Paul because he opposes the Iraq war. Period. Ron Paul may get his small government message across during the interview, but there would be no interview (and no admiration from Maddow) if Paul hadn't opposed the Iraq war from the start. Maddow's views are so far to the left that she actually agrees with neoconservatives on various social issues. She is mostly on board with neoconservative playbook of "invade the world, invite the world, in hock to the world". Except the "invade the world" part.

I didn't say she agrees with him, reread what I said. Keyword: respects.

Maddow is a socialist bull dyke...she could be hot if she grew and styled her hair...

the only reason she'd have RP on is to hurt McCain....Believe me..if it RP running against Obama, the "sympathetic" Maddows and Becks of the media would be ripping RP apart

No doubt. Don't kid yourselves.

Did you just see the word "McCain" in that post? Did you actually read the words? Or was this just an excuse to say Fuck?

In that post you were affirming a quote about her ambitions to just hurt McCain.

I find the word I used appropriate to get my feelings across in 2 words. Juan 'Amnesty' McCain.

She's been talking about Obama's info-ad.

The ads on five networks for half hour each at primetime are about $5 Million total. I had no idea they would be that cheap, how is that possible?

At any rate, if RP would have done that with one money bomb, maybe more people would have been reached. And there is still the opportunity for the CfL or some other group to do the same thing in the future.

I want to ask her, "If Obama does turn out to be a socialist, that would be just fine with you, wouldn't it?"

I was thinking the EXACT Same thing...

Jeesh - we should have just bought time to play the Ron Paul: A New Hope YouTube video on all the major networks at the same time...

Yes, I wish he had done it too.

When the Dems get the Fairness Doctrine passed, the networks won't be able to air such things without giving the opponents equal air time.

yeah, the campaign definitely needs to do that next time
lol, imagine Jesse Ventura talking smack about his two opponents for a half hour on every station..
