I think he did great.

I agree, he did the best he could with the time he had. It is sad we have SOOO many issues in this country and yet he only got into 0.000001% of them. Should be the exact opposite.

He mentioned that he thought Rand's speaking slot at the RNC was probably politically motivated - an attempt to get Paul voters to go to Romney. Don't know if he ever said that before, but to me that was the most revealing thing about this interview

You misheard. They offered him a speaking slot, but he had to give a full blown endorsement of Romney. He declined.

I personally have zero interest in Ron being a VP candidate. The only point would be to get him into the presidential debates, otherwise I don't see why he would want to do it.

It looks like Gary Johnson has way more support than I thought...I'm not sure if I should think much about that website but with 2 million votes and seeing GJ beat Romney in almost every state that I've clicked on makes me think that it's worth a try for RP to go for VP. You never know what could happen...him polling 1% could be because everybody was just choosing RP over him. We don't know because there were a lot of people in the race. It could be way different if RP is on the ticket with him.

seems like they left some out.... i went to the taping today and when asked if he was voting this year he said yes and Leno asked "Obama... Romney...." and Ron smiled and said they were nice. Jay asked if he would endorse anyone and he said "no I dont think I will be making any endorsements this year"

People in the audience were yelling "endorse Johnson" so they may have felt the need to cut that out. This song made me sad while they were performing though. Watching Ron silently standing on the side watching, looking into the crowd sometimes as people were waving at him he would smile and wave back.

If it would have been a real convention perhaps it would have come off like a real convention. I just don't see how anything good can come out of it after all of the criminal activity that went into it.
