I liked the comments about St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine and just war theory to contrast it with Huckabee's "God of Warr". Interesting stuff.

Paul is descended from antiwar German Lutherans in Pennsylvania and mentioning St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine as persons who have influenced his thinking is good away to appeal to Catholics in Eastern Iowa.

Remember Catholics, the Pope opposes this war and I can proudly say that as candidates go you won't find one as in-line with Catholic thought and chatecism than Ron Paul.
