Scroll through the pics of candidates and potential candidates. The author has some very nice things to say about the Paul campaign. Second day in a row on very good Ron Paul coverage !!

Is Ron Paul poised to take his perennial candidacy to the next level? We won't get a clear indication of whether that could happen until August's Ames Straw Poll. All the same, it's hard to not be impressed with the way the Paul campaign have gone about carefully laying the groundwork. Whatever the limitations of Paul's voracious fanbase, the campaign is absolutely a veteran effort, and it shows. This week, the most underreported story, frankly, was Paul's fundraising success. No, he's not anywhere near Mitt Romney levels, but he bested the rest of the GOP field this past quarter. "I'm in this race to win!" exclaimed Paul. You better recognize!

Paul has already put his money to good use, snatching up a prime parcel of land at the forthcoming Ames Straw Poll. Now he'll try to grow his Iowa base of support ahead of the poll by getting his message out with a modest radio buy. He's also going to hit the trail in Iowa with his son, Senator Rand Paul, who arguably has achieved what his father is setting out to do -- expand past the Paul fanbase into Tea Party and even establishment GOP terrain.

And in Texas, polls show that Paul continues to beat all comers -- including, potentially, Rick Perry.

But we know that what really matters to all of you is the news that the Ron Paul Blimp may be making a comeback. May the sky soon flood with the terrifying sight of libertarian dirigibles!

Forward to all you know so they can vote for Paul "in it for the win" !!!!

Thing is, Republicans do not typically frequent HuffPo, nor look upon favorably a positive article about a candidate that comes from them. They are thought of as a liberal rag. And since we are trying to win the Republican nomination right now...

Disaffected Democrats and Independents (and there are a ton of them right now) are going to move to someone.. Let's hope it is the Ron Paul camp. Let's not exclude anyone who gives Paul good press !!

Why would you take any good press as something negative?

Someone has to do something so the discredited and dying Republican Party can grow again. Given the direction it's going and the speed at which it's getting there, their efforts to rid themselves of birchers, peace lovers, real conservatives, open minded individuals and anyone who hates to wear a tie over the last several decades is about to leave them outnumbered by the Harper Valley PTA. And Harper Valley was made up by a songwriter...

Seems like Ron Paul got the best coverage of the whole lot. Nothing rancorous or mocking.

I was impressed Huff has been giving him some pretty decent coverage. I remember 2007 when the site treated him like the insane uncle hidden in the basement; and excluded him from almost all pictures of the GOP candidates.

It looks like they are coming around and considering him a serious candidate at last. Much hard work and effort by Paul and all his supporters has finally gotten their attention.. So me, I am delighted !!!

Please vote for favorite slide and RP "in it too win" at story link above, At this moment, Paul is running third behind Obama and Romney.

Obama is running unopposed this year. Huff Post could tell its readers to vote in the Republican Primary.

But this is a pure horse-race type of political column that is just discussing each candidate's sporting chances to get the most votes in the election.

This is good publicity, if only it would tell its readers to register republican and vote for Ron Paul.

Good point !! Maybe that is what they are doing in a round about way. We can get Dem's with a strong anti-war campaign, and this intrusive, dictatorial government.
