Ron Paul on Glen Beck

I was the first caller. I apoligized to Glen for a nasty email that I sent him. I quoted Thomas Jefferson.

Folks, I literally HAD to call for as Glen Beck was interviewing Dr Paul (my hero) I was brought to tears.

Just wondering. Did any of my RP fellow patriots hear me?

Yep, I heard it. Good call.

I was on his message board this morning and it didn't go over bad. Some of the people that were Fred heads there are actually considering Ron Paul.

I think it's a big mistake for everybody to be exposing fangs every time Glenn is mentioned. That just comes off as hateful. It's time to attract voters not alienate them.

Thanks.

BTW When I talked to Beck I was cut off before I could say that our answer to the question, "would Ron Paul run as a third party candidate if he doesn't get the nomination" is that there are very few Ron Paul supporters who could possibly vote for anyone else and we're pledged to write him in if we have to.

Let that be a warning to the RNC who know full well how many new recruits they have had in recent months most if not all who are Ron Paul supporters which they will lose if he doesn't win the nomination.
By them pushing Romney or McFraud or Ghoulaini down our throats they are throwing the election away to a Democrat. No pro-Iraq war Republican can win against one of them.

Besides that, none fo the other Rep candidates is far enough away from the Dems in practice or in philosophy to really show the people a difference. ONLY Ron Paul shows the clearest contrast between their Marxist philosophy and Paul's Jeffersonian philosophy. If we really want change we need to go back further than William Jefferson Clinton, all the way back to the real Jefferson. Our Jefferson, Ron Paul.

Transcript was pretty good. Dr. Paul did great, as usual.

Glenn doesn't want to admit you can't have liberty at home and global dominion. That is the thing he can't deal with. Until he does he won't be reliable on liberty at home, and he'll be on the wrong side of foreign affairs issues.

However, I was pleased with the way Beck stayed on topic and areas of agreement.

Hi Brutus, you anti federalist you!

I agree with your two pervious posts but I want to ad that Glen like many others, including myself are very concerned about the threat of Islamic terrorist scumbags who want to chop off our kid's heads and have their way with our wives.
BUt like many of us he's been programmed over the course of many years to think that the world will go to hell if the USA doesn't police it and throw our weight around.

There are also lots of conservatives many of whom I've debated in recent years, (try the last 35 yrs) about our involvement in the Middle East being heavily informed by our dependence on oil.
First they try to say that our involvement there, or the war in Iraq has nothing to do with oil, then when you push them or just let them show their true colors, they usually say that if we weren't there, they would destroy our entire way of life and our economy.
What they're really saying is that the USA who invented every quality of life improvement from the automobile to the airplane and the vcr, dvd, radio, tv and computer. A country who first split the atom, can clone sheep and, over 30 years ago put a man on the moon, will have to revert back to the horse and buggy without Arab oil. Cowards who would rather send your son to die to keep oil prices low than to allow the free market to set us free once and for all. They like to blame "environmentalists" but cannot even define what that is, but blame them for not allowing oil companies to drill for oil here on our own soil. They can't define what an environmentalist is though they know they're whackos who usually wear tie dye clothes, smoke pot and hug trees yet those same whackos are somehow powerful enough in the minds of our Republican conserve-nothings as to stop powerful oil companies who line the pockets of our elected officials from doing what they want in some god forsaken part of the world where no one will see them.

Glen Beck doesn't see how we can free ourselves without the use of military force. He's afraid of the things that will transpire whether odd-even rationing gas days or riots in the streets.
And as you pointed out he's blinded to the loss of liberty in times of war. In the meantime he will tolerate loss of liberty because he percieves the hoards of barbarians being held back by our huge military and old ladies having heat for their homes and gas for his Rolls Royce until some scientist finds the silver bullet new fuel that can show the Arabs our national bird. The trouble is,, that silver bullet doesn't exist and never will but we have the technology right now and plenty of our own resources to accomplish what endless wars and imaginary fuel sources never will.

He mentioned the Federalist Papers. Why don't you turn him onto the Brutus Papers too. It might help to free his mind and dispell his overwhelming fears.

you should have a blog

WOW! I think Beck was going through a bit of a learning experience there. He was really understanding Paul's views and his absolute genius. He even said he seems to be the only guy who read the Federalist papers. Glenn needs to shake off the drug and prostitution decriminalization and endorse Dr. Paul. They sound like twins when speaking about the economy and national sovereignty. An endorsement from him would be great for catching more of the older crowd and probably several hundreds of Mormons (lol).

It won't happen in this election and possibly in this life. But I agree with you. He seems to be coming around. Last week he mentioned the Fabian Socialists and lately he's been marginally acknowledging the efforts among some people to concentrate their financial wealth and politiical power on a global scale. One world government goons. Wilsonians.

Ya know what's really amazing? The modern republicans will defend to their very end of days the Wilsonian one world government ideals, policing the world and making the world safe for democracy. Its an age old Democrat ideal. The Democrats are the original globalist one worlders starting with Wilson then onto FDR and of course Truman the first globalist to totally ignore our Constitution or the authority of Congress to declare war, using as his reasoning and authority the United Nations. The same authority of course that Bush used to send our sons into Iraq. To enforce UN resolutions. I'm with Ron Paul. SCREW the UN and the camels they rode in on!

For Glenn and others who are concerned with the economy seem to be on board with Paul's monetary and economic philosophy but still hung up on the war their argument is "We won't have an economy or any civil liberties to worry about if we don't fight this war."

So turn it around on them... if we don't get get control of our insane monetary policy, we won't be able to fight the war.

Collapsed economy = weak USA and terrorists win anyway

or

Stable and robust economy + sensible foreign policy = happy Americans and keeping the capability of taking out the remaining terrorists.

Does Glenn Beck want to eliminate income tax? Sounds like he does.

Yes he does, remember he said (on this TV program) he wanted to french kiss Paul when Paul mentioned this.

Beck is onboard with Paul on everything but foreign policy.

Thanks Tech,

We don't hear any other candidate talk with such an understanding about economic issues like Ron Paul. Not even close.

This man needs to be our next president.

When I saw that you posted the link I called my wife into the office and sat her down to hear my comments after the interview.
We didn't hear them but we were still both totally impressed by this interview and Ron Pauls comments.

Thanks big time!
