The dirty secret of both political parties - as seen from Canada where we have the same problem - is that they have adopted not "right" and "left" positions but positions that are anti-freedom. The Democrats are radicalized socialists while the Republicans are increasingly radicalized militarists and nationalists. A vote for either is a vote for fewer freedoms, more taxes, more big government spending and Federal Reserve machinations.
