HQ must not be updating because we should be way past that by now - is there a minimum donation amount?
 
they are not updating the total because they are smart. They are most likely already near the amount of donations they wanted to get :)

Yeah, if you ask me the goal was obscenely low. They should have pushed for that number over a two or three day period. 1787 donations is only 35 per state.
 
Seriously, as soon as I saw this, I donated, and it was like at 100 donations or something, then in a couple of hours it was already up to 400. Then a little while later they stopped updating it. I think they might have hit their goal the first day or the morning of the second day.

That doesn't mean it's ok to not donate though.
 
Well, geez, let's not count on this beating the goal! Even if they met the goal yet-- which we cannot assume-- let's give them the opportunity to do a press release boasting of how far we surpassed it!

I donated earlier this week, and I will donate by Friday again rather than waiting for next week. Please donate this week if you can!

Ya... they were still at only 545 yesterday at 1:15 ET. That was Tuesday, so they certainly didn't hit their goal the first day. Maybe the 2nd (likely not). Probably today though. DEFINITELY by the end of the week, but who cares. :)

Let's keep it rolling and surprise even the headquarters.

The Quill just updated to 836 and it now says its a live count. Need to step it up! The week is almost half way over and we have less then half of 1787.
 
Donated this morning for the first time ever to a political campaign!! Wohoo!! It feels good to be able to donate and actually feel good about it.

With Ron's fiscal frugalness I know that our money will be used wisely.
