Ron Paul losing badly in Texas presidential primary in HIS OWN district

all the blame goes to the gop, THANK THE GOP for this they are 100% responsible for the msm blackout they endorsed it

People have been trained to think elections are like horse races. This means that they think there's an added benefit if you corrected select the winner. This is why people vote for the 'front runner' simply because people like to 'pick a winner.' Of course, it's a terrible way to view an election, as everyone gets the same result regardless of who they voted for, or if they even voted at all.

what i'd like to see when it's complete, is his number of Congressional Race votes vs. Presidential Race votes in the district and see if there's a big discrepency. Would many voters vote for their Congressman to stay seated and not for him to be President?

THESE NUMBERS ARE BULLSHIT! I DON'T BELIEVE FOR ONE GODDAMED MINUTE RON PAUL IS GETTING TROUNCED IN HIS OWN DISTRICT!

Paul's Congressional votes > Presidential votes. There are voters selecting him for the house seat and selecting someone else for president on the same ballot. I guess they don't want to "waste" their presidential vote.

Most of District 14 is in Brazoria and Galveston Counties. Numbers should be higher there. Most of Fort Bend County is in District 22.

This was pretty much expected. his best hope was upper teens in his own district.

Also not unusual in politics. There are many people considered qualified for a lower office that people wouldnt pick for President.
