how about the government just not tax people in the first place?

"Veterans deserve better care"
yeah, which they should get from the marketplace. Did Ron Paul just support taxpayer funded socialist health-care for veterans?

"Congress should regulate commerce, not cafta"
How about the government not regulate commerce, either? Did Ron Paul just come out in support of congress regulating trade? Wtf is with this speech?

Welcome. You should spend some time reading about Dr. Paul's other speeches. He is not going into detail for each issue ( he has in the past), and you should read about it yourself.

I'm not trolling and bitching. I guess it's easy to get that impression when I start my posting by complaining. I'm very familiar with Ron Paul and I'm a supporter. That's why some of the things he said at the beginning of the speech surprised me, in a bad way. He's been great in the speech since then, though.
