I'd love to see that happen, but it's not going to. Some had us even at 2% in FL, while most had us around 5%. We should expect 4-7%, I think. 10% would be absolutely wonderful, though unlikely.

I'm in South West Broward, there was very little Ron Paul presence. I woke up a 4AM and put up a bunch of signs along the major intersections, which were blanketed with Romney signs.


I did see one guy holding up a Ron Paul sign during rush hour, but there were a ton more Romney people.

The blimp got us about the only press in Florida. Where it went, people at least heard the name. Whether or not the BLIMP made them VOTE is a silly thing. Of course it would not do that..it was not designed to do that. It was to make people see his name and maybe go to their computer to find out about him. If they are on the "government dole" or into the raghead mentality, they would not vote for him after they did that.

I also just heard on CNN that 47% of Floridians believe the economy is the most important issue.

I wonder who the best economic candidate would be?

The blimp has spent most of it's time in FL. Anything over 10% would be totally unexpected, considering the polls are around 2-3%.

I would give the Blimp a couple of points of credit, but with the signs all over Florida, the grassroots have to get the majority of the credit for a strong showing.

We've got plenty of time to figure that out, we shall see if it did any good in Florida:

The blimp did not receive enough sponsorships to keep it afloat any longer.
We will be keeping the banners in hopes of flying the blimp for "round 2" in a few months.

My friend is a commincating poll worker in florida, his job is to report and talk with other voting sites and he told me that his precinct has mostly votes for Ron Paul and he has been calling other precincts and most of them have RP taking 15-22% of the vote!!!!
