Ron Paul in Spokane on the 31st

Greetings all,

This Thursday presidential candidate Ron Paul will be in Spokane!!! If you or anyone you know is going to be available and in the Spokane area that afternoon/evening, this is a tremendous opportunity to hear from one of our nation's foremost experts on the Constitution, economic/monetary policy and foreign affairs. A rally/speech will be held for the general public at 5:45 pm at the DoubleTree hotel downtown. Doors open at 5:00 pm.

From 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm, there will be a special reception for local business and political leaders. It is by invitation only and there is limited seating.

would love to go, but being in western wa i'm not sure i want to take my chances on the pass with the weather lately. i've heard spokane is getting slammed with snow

I'm so excited to go! I've been hoping he would make a trip here, I just need to get someone to come cover for me at work a little early and I'm good.

The only thing I'm worried about is the snow. We've had record snow fall here, we get some more here today, and are expected to get several more inches on Thursday. Most schools are closed for a 3rd straight day, and may just close for the rest of the week.. hope it doesn't affect his travel plans.

I'll be driving up from Clarkston (100+ miles) to attend. It'll be worth it.

This was absolutely amazing. I was able to into the VIP only reception (about 25-50 people) before the rally and shake his hand. I was speechless, there were so many things I wanted say, I just couldn't. I shook his hand and just smiled. He is an amazing public speaker. I got videos and pictures, I'll put them online when I get home. Anyone else get any videos? For a 2 day notice, there was a HUGE amount of people there.

It was a fun event, too bad his plane got delayed and his drive from the airport was a slow one. I saw his interview from the VIP room on KHQ in local news, here's the video online http://khq.com/Global/category.asp?C=123625&nav=menu438_2_6. You can see me right behind his right shoulder, with a sign above my head.

Cool enough too was one of the commercials right after the interview was a Ron Paul TV ad.
