A-PAUL-ING SACHA ANTIC

Via HotAir: Ron Paul: I probably should have punched Sacha Baron Cohen
"I was expecting an interview on Austrian economics," Paul said. "But by the time he started pulling his pants down, I . . . ran out of the room. This interview has ended."

Paul said that "when this all gets out, I'm probably going to have to apologize to my supporters because I think most of them are going to figure out why in the world didn't I sock this guy in the nose?"

Nah. You handled it just fine, Dr. Paul. Whoever it was that set up this "interview" on the other hand...

As far as I can see it, Dr. Paul was deceived to the point he was physically vulnerable by total strangers, and, given his position as a sitting US Congressman, his life could have been in danger. Once at that point, I would not hold anyone morally or ethically wrong for actions taken to secure their personal safety.

Me either, Brain! I would have had no problem if he socked him right in the jaw. It's just, no apologies are in order, on his part anyway.

If he had punched him he would have been labeled a homophobe.

Why is Hot Air talking about Ron Paul, exactly?

LOL. I'm sure this will go to Dr Paul's advantage if he just laughs it off.

true... If it had happened to anyone else I would be laughing... he should have interviewed barney frank... or imagine nancy pelosi's scarecrow face when he started to pull his pants down! LOL

Fuck...

That's just gross.
